The non-replaceable tip sprocket on my basic $45 Husqvarna bar seized up so it was time for an upgrade. This Sugihara bar has a replaceable tip ($25) and a file doesn't do much to the better grade of steel. The weight difference is 5.3 oz from the basic bar. From now on wrecking a tip sprocket by cutting out tree stumps will cost a lot less.
