OK so i bought this product for my Russian tortoise. It was shipped on time and everything so no complaints there. The only issue i have with this is that when you turn it on, it works, BUT it is a constant flicker/waving action. The light doesnt flicker on and off, just flickers back and forth like waves. I'm not sure if its just the bulb or what. If it didnt wave like that this light would be great. It still provides the UVB that is needed, just is annoying with the flickering. Hope this helps with some in their decision. Not sure if anyone else had this problem or not. Maybe it will self fix as i only had it on a few minutes, but i am not sure.

A little smaller than I thought.. but that's ok! I run this for multiple hours daily and she's still going!! Been a few months now:) good purchase

Got this for our sulcata turtle 🢠he is just a little guy still but its used often and so far has held up great!

Reptile light provides the required UV lighting to keep turtles healthy. Slim design fits nicely on reptile enclosure. Great price also. About 40% cheaper than at retail store.

I ordered this item because I needed a fixture and UVB tube light for my Greek tortoise. I was aiming for a 10% UVB bulb, but 7% sounded sufficient, and the price was great.When I received the item, the bulb was NOT a 7% UVB - and in fact, nowhere on the packaging, instruction, or the bulb does it mention 7%. This is a "T8" bulb, and the instructions include a diagram of the light wave lengths it emits, and these are NOT equivalent to a 7% UVB desert bulb. If you read reviews of this bulb, specifically, you will see that it has been shown to cause lethargy and other problems, and that the initial UVC levels it emits are dangerously high.Upon contacting the seller, they first were very confused and polite but unhelpful. They gave me the manufacturer's phone number, which put me into a wait-loop that I gave up on. I called the seller back, and suggested that they need to change their item description to reflect the item. The customer service rep politely more or less told me that nothing would be done, except that I could return the whole thing at my shipping expense, for a new one. Since this seller does not sell the item I needed, and I needed the UVB light for my tortoise RIGHT AWAY, I just gave up, threw away the bulb, purchase the 'right' kind of bulb, and placed it in the fixture.I recommend purchasing the Exo Terra Repti Glo desert 10% UVB tube light, such as this one: http://www.amazon.com/Terra-Repti-Glo-Fluorescent-15-Watt-18-Inch/dp/B0006346G0/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1360893951&sr=8-7&keywords=exo+terra+uvb

but i feel like it is kinda dim for my situation. I wanted to have a split spectrum and cool/hot sides to my 50 gal. tank and it is working; however, i feel that the 150w light I am running on the other side is just over powering it.

Receieved my product today in the mail. Was very excited to receive this for my reptiles. The fixture blew straight away. not the bulb the actual fixture. would not recommend
