I've only started to use the 100 grit but it does create some very fine sawdust.I use this with a table saw sanding/calibration disc. It's become a great addition to my woodshop. I cannot speak to the longevity but on initial use, these is very good sandpaper and the adhesive is excellent. It seems as if it will last quit a long time. It is definitely worth the money.

The disc adhesive isn't strong enough to keep the disc firmly attached to the base. Unless I them under a weighted press, the sanding disk curls up from the edge, gradually breaking loose from the base. The sandpaper is good, so I wish it would stay adhered to the base.
