The bar is exactly as advertised. It is not a soft copper so it does take some effort to cut and drill, but it works great for a grounding plane for lightning protection for antennas.

I was looking for a pure copper plate, square or rectangular, not too thin, as a bus bar to handle MANY amps of DC current. This was the perfect choice. Eighth-inch thick, not thin and flimsy but not huge, PURE Copper, so this will handle MANY amps with no issue. And doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Just what I needed.
