Checks all the boxes.1. Sizing is dead on (it’s larger than the certified hard foam version)2. Very comfortable3. Price4. Good materials (ABS plastic and good padding)I bought the white color helmet for night riding visibility and mounted a headlamp using rubber bands on the front holes (can also velcro lamp to front).

This helmet is so cute. I wanted to keep it, but my partner and I didn't think it was worth it to risk using an uncertified helmet. We watched a YouTube video showing the difference in impact reduction between a certified and uncertified helmet and it was a huge difference. I'm not going to take that risk. I returned it. The sellers website clearly gives a link to a certified version of this helmet ( different color) though. It was my mistake that I bought this. That's why I'm still giving it 5 stars. If an uncertified helmet is what you are looking for, it's a great one.

I hope to never have the experience to review the protection, but I can speak to the fit and feel. Compared to the average helmet that I've used and seen, it just feels much better quality. The lining is far more comfortable than the standard foam in the cheaper models. I haven't crash-tested it, but it feels like it would protect well.

This is an exact replacement of a helmet my son had stollen- he likes this brand so much that he walked to school for a couple days waiting for the new helmet to get delivered - it makes me feel better knowing he always wears it when riding his bike
