After a major helmet crash into the truck bumper in our driveway, my 4yo grandson chose this full coverage helmet as a replacement. He was wearing a similar style helmet when he crashed his last helmet. The design of this helmet (and the one he crashed) is excellent. IF my grandson had been wearing his other bike helmet (the streamlined type that sits on the top of their little heads, he would have ended up in the ER as it would have just pushed up and off and his head would have hit the bumper or his neck would have been jarred badly. His mom's an ER nurse and she will only allow him to use this type of helmet now as it saved his little head.My grandson chose this because he could color it himself (ie, scribble all over it with the included markers.). The silver and other metallic colors show up beautifully on the shiny black helmet and have not rubbed off at all in months and months of wear! Highly recommend this snazzy, protective bit of head gear!

A reasonably priced helmet that is well made, comfortable and easy to use. Safety is always a good thing and they get to decorate w/ their own style which makes them want to wear it.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad helmet. It is your standard helmet, but that you can draw and write on. It is a neat concept. But as with every gimmick, the novelty wears off fast and combine that with the fact that my kids lose stuff on the regular...ie markers and small stencils like the ones included with the helmet, drawing on the helmet did not last long. I would say less than a month.Anyway, It is still a nice helmet. It fits my kid's noggin very well and they say that it is comfortable. It also looks nice, even though that is a low priority in my book. I prefer protection over looks any day. I hope that if you purchase this helmet, that your kids will use the drawing feature more than mine did.

This helmet is awesome. My daughter loved it and has been wearing it for 2 hours on her hoverboard. Her old helmet she would complain about within the first 10 minutes.As to size, I measured her head and chose the smaller size as this was the recommended size for her head circumference. It fits just right.The wipe off markers are not like a traditional white board where it is super easy to wipe off. The drawings stay on very well once dry and dont smudge with every touch. But when you want to clean them off you easily can with a paper towel.Really great product!

Got the 1 for age 5 +. It’s too big on my daughters head & it doesn’t have an adjustment setting so she can’t wear it yet

The kids do not complain to wear their helmets! Customizable and nicely constructed, these helmets are fun! Great product for creative bike-riding kids!

Helmet says it’s for 5+ but it’s huge on my 6 year olds head . The straps are the tightest they can go too

I love this helmet! Very good quality. Some of the reviews said the pens weren’t visible on the helmet but didn’t have this problem at all, the pens are actually really bright! It also comes with stencils with basic designs which are really useful!

Helmet was good, however the pens are very poor quality so does not work as a scribble helmet. All in all a waste of money, should have bought a cheaper plain helmet

I got this for my 5 year old nephew, he was delighted with it. The pens work well on th ehelmet and its great for him to have the stencils which were included. The helmet fits well
