Triple Eight LIL 8 Dual Certified Sweatsaver Kids Skateboard and Bike Helmet with Padded Chin Buckle
The Triple Eight LIL 8 Dual Certified Sweatsaver Kids Skateboard and Bike Helmet with Padded Chin Buckle is a serious helmet for little rippers. This dual-certified skate and a bike helmet are constructed of a tough ABS outer shell and EPS liner; helmet complies with US CPSC bike and ASTM F-1492 skate safety standards and is ideal for biking, skateboarding, skating, and scooters. Triple 8's LIL 8 Kid's Helmet is equipped with an adjustable Fit Dial system to customize the fit, and a “Pinch Saver” padded chin strap for comfort. Each helmet comes with two sets of washable Sweatsaver fit pads for a custom fit. LIL 8 helmets fit toddlers and children up to 5 years ( head circumference of 18 – 20.5 inches / 46 – 52 cm). To determine proper size, measure around the head using a soft tape measure or string. Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older and ASTM F-1492 Skate safety standards.

This helmet is perfect for my two year old! I was worried she wouldn’t want to wear a helmet but she likes it so it must be comfortable. I was able to adjust it in the back to fit her and she will be able to wear it a long time since I can loosen it as she grows. But even more importantly it seems very well made and safe! You can definitely find cheaper helmets but it is worth it to pay more for the safety of your child’s head in my opinion!

Best Looking and Quality Helmets for Toddlers out there. My boy/girl twins turn 2 next week and we wanted to buy them balance bikes for their birthday. The bikes were easy to find helmets not so easy. I looked in about every store that carried toddler helmets and all I could find were cartoon characters or big huge plastic fohawks. When I first started looking at these I was looking at an adult helmet. Somehow I came across the manufacturers number by looking at their website and spoke to someone who advised I look at the Triple Eight Lil 8 I am so glad he did. These helmets are great - easy to adjust. The first night trying them on my son wasn't really interested in wearing them but the next day when we took them and their bikes outside they played the entire time wearing their helmets. I am so glad that I found great looking quality helmets for toddlers.

These are brilliant! They made a kid skate helmet and added the ratchet band of a bicycle helmet to make a truly custom fit. Love these!

This helmet seems better quality than the helmet of the brand of the popular scooter we bought. The color is really vibrant and it looks good, my two year old demands to wear it all the time even when at home playing with other toys! He does occasionally say it itches and it leaves his head quite sweaty but this would probably be the case with any helmet.

Got it in blue and my daughter loves wearing this helmet. It's a tad too big (kid is almost 4 and tall, but has a smallish skull), but I managed to tighten the straps enough to make it work. I like that there's protection for the back and sides of her head, not just the top like a regular bike helmet. There's lots of room to grow.

We got this for my 7 year old as a replacement for another helmet that fit very poorly. We are very pleased with how well this one fits her and the adjustability of the helmet. My daughter says it’s very comfortable which is obviously important. I like how low it comes down on the back of her head and doesn’t slide off to the side as her previous one did.There are two sets of interior padding that come with the helmet, one is thicker than the other, again this helps adjust the helmet to the child’s head better.We will be purchasing another for our younger daughter as well.

Fits my almost 3yo perfect. She is willing to wearFor pretty long rides. The padding around the chin clip is brilliant and prevent pinching when trying to clip it but also allows for a good tight fit. She loves it.

I was skeptical because of the weight. But my 3 year old hasn’t complained about it, and even seems to prefer it over his super lightweight Giro helmet which I paid double for. The coverage is excellent and the helmet fits very well. It does not tip backwards like all other helmets my son has tried. I would recommend this to all parents with very active and accident-prone children.
