I am working on some home projects including refinishing some furniture, sprucing up molding AND taking care of all those "dings" on my car. So it is nice to have these moldable pads in a variety of grits for these tasks. I have not washed/reused any of the pads yet so I cannot comment on that. But there was no information exactly how these can be washed? Just rinse in the sink? dishwashing liquid? liquid soap or what?

I was skeptical these would work well due to their lower profile when compared to their 3M equivalent. I was wrong.In addition to some wood projects, I used the 400P sponge to finish sand a recent drywall job in a 9 x 9 bath remodel. While not as easy to hold as their 3M equivalent, there's still plenty of side wall to grip. The clean edges are perfect for sanding crisp inside corners. A nice benefit to these is the felt backing. It allows you to sand an area and then quickly flip the sponge and use the backing material to clear the surface for inspection (almost a quick and dirty tacking). Used a single sponge for the entire bath project and it's still going strong.What's to like?• The lower profile allows them to enter spaces a 3M sponge is too big for• The clean edges provide better accuracy when sanding tight inside corners• The thinner construction allows the sponge to stay in contact with curved contours• Easy to cut into custom shapes for those odd spaces that you normally can't get into• The backing provides just enough rigidity to prevent hot spots under low to medium pressureThings to consider• The lower profile isn't as easy to hold over longer periods of time• Edges may be too crisp for inside corners with a slight radiusOverall I'm very impressed with the product. A fantastic value and a great complement to any sanding kit.

This sanding pad comes with preinstalled, hook and loop foam backing. It is a wet and dry formula for sanding, paints and metal. The foam backing contours to the shape of the object you are standing. The grit does not clog up when you use water to lubricate, extending the life of the sandpaper. Also using water creates a more polished, finish, then dry sanding and works very well when you are starting your polish sanding steps. I use this between coats. The pre-cut size is a 20 pack and good for small projects and small surfaces. This pack cost about the same as a pack of sheet sandpaper and gives you the convenience of the foam backing already being installed.

Ordered this (20) Pack of 3" x 4" 600 Grit Sanding Sponge - Ultra Fine Sanding Sponge Pads -for my small furniture refinishing shop. When refinishing a dining room suite (all wood), there are usually (6) matching chairs and that equals out to (24) round spindle or square legs. It takes lots of sanding on chairs to prepare them for refinishing and sandpaper. Recently while shopping online for some paint remover and sealer, I saw this (20) pack of smaller 3"x4" sanding sponges that is flexible and has good backing. After reading that they can be washed and reused, I ordered them. These are nice smaller sponges. I like the sponge and backing material. These are well made and perfect size for chair leg sanding. I ordered the 600 grit which is finer grit for preparing wood for finishing. I usually use spray lacquer like factories use. I also use these to sand and smooth down my primer/sealer coat before final lacquer top coats. I like these as they flex right in my hand and will wrap right around a spindle on a chair leg and smooth it right out. These make the job lots quicker and means a lot when sanding many legs on furniture. I like the long lasting material and also like that I can wash and reuse them.Happy with order.

Use this to get rid of scratches on my knives. It worked as it should and kept composed even during wet sanding. 18 pieces are quite a lot and there are 2 for each grit. As 3000 will suggest it won't give you a mirror finish but good enough dull shine. The spacing between the grits was reasonable, but reading the number is NOT that easy unless you r are working under a bright light. So, one star off for that. Make the grit numbers bigger and more visible & try some patterns or colors.
