I'd purchased 3 paper lanterns for the bedroom and found this lighting insert which made it very easy to attach and hang. All 3 cords are attached and are different lengths so you can stagger the lights at different lengths. I did need to attach a twist tie to the cords so they weren't hanging loose. I also wrapped the cords with ribbon so I wouldn't see the cords. This was the perfect solution for how I wanted these lanterns to look. I used 25 watt bulbs and the lights need to be the smaller base like a night light bulb.

Our home is an older home that never had a hardwired light fixture in our living room. So when I saw this plug in cord, I knew I had to improvise. I found super cute boho/rustic baskets and made lampshades with this light fixture. It worked out amazingly well and we have our Alexa to turn on/turn off the lights.

I had three pottery spherical globes made for pendant lights and these look great. The electrician said they were easy to work with

With all standard-issue parts, there's nothing special about this, but it works as advertised and I'm happy with it. Do note that the "branch" sections that dangle off of the main cable (the first two sockets split off, the third is just the end of the cable) are only about 6 inches long, so if you want to have your lamps hanging far down from the ceiling, you'll probably be better served wiring your own together. The two branch sections are attached by lego-shaped splice fasteners that have a little hole through the middle. I put a nail through these holes into my ceiling which is sufficient to hold the little bit of weight from the lanterns. The kit comes with a single screw-in hook with a little plastic anchoring sleeve (pilot hole needed for sheetrock) to use for hanging the third socket, which is adequate, but it means that if there is slack in the cord, it might slide down, so you may want to use some other fastener to lock it in place. For my home office, I plan to eventually roll my own variation of essentially the same kit so that I can adjust the lengths exactly how I want them, but this part is serving very well for now.

I needed a quick and easy solution to add good lighting to my basement. I had the 2 flourescent light fixtures removed, because of the high electro-magnetic radiation concerns. I was using a string of Christmas lights as a temporary fix. Initially I was hesitant because of the ratings. I just got these lights. I am GLAD I ordered them. I just strung this up in my basement. What a blessing - everything is shining and I can see better than when I had the flourescent lights! Very good quality. Shipment arrived on-time. I am so pleased with this product, I am ordering 2 more. I would highly recommend this.

This was exactly what I wanted. It isn't a bunch as pictured, although I'm sure you could figure out a way to rig it that way. It's a straight line with the sockets. I used it with large bulbs for softer lighting in my office and it works perfectly.

The biggest problem i have with this item is that the wires are exposed where the cord was spliced to add each of the additional sockets, it did not appear to be professionally made or with high quality,i with no electrical knowledge could have put this together. I feel this is a FIRE HAZARD and I am surprised it passes any type of safety regulations; I don't think it safe to hang in my daughters room. The other problem I have with this is the way the three sockets are placed within the cord, I wanted to hang my daughters paper-lanterns in the corner of her room, a group ( of 3) with the three lengths varying.it does not allow for hanging the lights as i wanted, The cord is made somewhat like a Christmas strand, in which you would hand straight across with each light socket at the same level spaced apart. THE PICTURE & DESCRIPTION DID NOT DO JUSTICE FOR THE ITEM. it is very difficult to work with. I ended up purchasing something else to hang the paper lanterns in my daughters room.

These are made well and work fine. However, the design needs much more thought and incorporation. For what it is normally used for -ceiling hung lamps- the cords are wayyyy too short and, most irritatingly, the "In Cord roller on/off switch" is just a foot and a half from the plug! My daughter ended up stringing it across the celing and plugging an extention cord in to it to reach the outlet on the wall. NOT attractive (or safe). ::grrrr::It is not aesthetically functional as designed.I did not return it, however, because my daughter "rigged" it and loves her Paper Star Lanterns too much to return it.::sigh::
