It changed well. Setting timer was key to the time, hours light will work at night. Gives ample lighting .

I’ve only had it one day but got it well charged and turned it on last night. Was still on this morning and plenty bright. It’s good that you can mostly control it without the remote, because, you know what will happen. Very nice that it has a warm white setting. That blue led light actually makes it hard to see. My instructions were poorly printed so I enhanced the image of the remote, which might be useful.

Actually a decent product but the brightness is very much overstated. The manual indicates 1200 Lumen but I bought 2 other designs similar in size and price. Both those were stated to be 1000 Lumen and both were brighter than this one. In the end not bright enough for my needs.

This came nicely packaged. I own a lot of solar lights. This light has some features that none of my other lights have. It comes with a really nice remote control, not one of them tiny flat remotes that only work half of the time. As long as you have a line of site I've got the remote to work about 40' away. With the remote, you can power the light on and off. You can quickly tap the mode you want, adjust the brightness, and set a timer for the light to stay illuminated once it stops detecting movement. The motion sensor seems to have a wide field of view. It comes on as soon as I enter my basement, even though it's angled the other way. I recently got a few new solar lights for my shed, gazebo, and my house. I got this light for my basement crawl space. My old basement light would not work until it was completely dark out, and I needed light even during the day. The reason I chose this for my crawl space is because it has daytime mode. My crawl space basement gets a little sunlight from the windows. The sunlight is not bright enough to see clearly, but it's too bright to activate any of my other solar lights. Having daytime mode was important for my basement light. This is great for areas that are dimly lit during the day. Another feature I needed for the basement was a detachable solar panel because the light is in an area where it does not receive sunlight. This solar panel is detached from the light and setup outside. The panel is really nice and easily adjustable. There are 2 knobs used you can loosen to adjust the angle and then tighten them down to the bracket when you find the right spot. This light is very bright. I don't go in the basement often, but when I do, the battery is always charged. This unit is exactly as described. This would be great for anywhere that doesn't have a power supply. It's great for a shed, tent, gazebo, etc. I will try to update my pics the next time I go into the crawl space.

I have a gazebo that is at the back of my yard and I needed a light inside of it. It is not easy to sting a power line to this gazebo so this solar light seemed perfect. This light arrived well-packaged. It comes with the light, a solar panel with a 5-meter-long cable to connect to the light, a remote control, and a user manual. There are also brackets that can be attached to the light if you want to put it on a wall or other surface. It includes the screws as well. I will just be using the hook on the bottom of the light to attach it to the top of my gazebo. The solar panel has a bracket on it that can be screwed to any surface with the included screws. There is a 4400 mAh battery that recharges from the solar panel. There is also a motion sensor on this light. You can adjust this light to work in any of 5 different modes. These modes are as follows:-Dim to bright at night when motion is sensed-Off to bright at night when motion is sensed-On all night-Off to bright all day and night-On all day and night.I really like these modes that they have included and for me, the best mode is the mode where the light comes on anytime when it senses movement since it is always dark inside my Gazebo. The remote control is nice to have since it allows you to change the settings on the light from a distance and my light is too high to reach. You can adjust the brightness as well as use timer functions from the remote. This light is smaller than I expected and I was concerned that it would not be very bright but it is. It is more than bright enough for my gazebo.I have a lot of trees in my backyard and this was still able to charge despite not many hours of direct sunlight. If you have a gazebo or any area that you want to light up and do not have easy access to a power source then this is perfect. It has an IP65 waterproof rating so can even be used outside.I am very happy with this light and I do recommend it.

Likes:- Light is compact and lightweight with a nice round LED array positioned in the center of the unit- It is solar charged and it has a large capacity battery inside of the unit- The solar panel is well built and it has a strong aluminum frame around it- The power wire that connects the solar panel to the lamp has a thick weatherproof jacket around it and it has plenty of length to suit my application- The remote control can be used to control all of the lamp's functions once the power button is pressed on the UFO lamp- Overall light output is very bright, I have it on the second lowest brightness setting and it provides ample light to cover my entire back porch- The mounting bracket is versatile because it can be installed in either orientation depending on what angle I need the light to be pointedDislikes:- First and foremost the provided Philips mounting screws are complete junk, the Philips heads are too small to properly fit my standard size bits. I drop one and the other 3 were all stripped by the time I managed to screw them into the mounting brackets. Now the screws are stuck and I can't remove them using the Philips bit. Do yourself a favour and discard these screws in the garbage and use your own screws with standard size heads- The motion and light sensor work very glitchy for my application. I have the lamp mounted right above my patio door door where my rear porch is located. I also have a large motion sensor flood lamp mounted about 10 feet right above this UFO lamp (the flood lamp is used to light up the majority of my backyard where the vehicles are parked) . The issue is that when I first setup the UFO lamp, I was able to use Modes 1 through 3 at night properly UNTIL the flood lamp would activate, then the light or motion sensor on the UFO lamp would glitch and the lamp would no longer turn on when it detected motion. I even tried Modes 4 and 5 which should light up regardless of ambient light and it still wouldn't turn on. The only fix for this problem was for me to turn off the UFO lamp via the power switch on the unit itself, then after that I was able to use Mode 4 which it is currently set to (this setting will activate the lamp during the day time but since it is solar charged this is a small trade off to get it to work properly). For some reason the light from my flood lamp confuses the UFO lamp to think it is daytime and from there it completely gets glitched and no longer want's to turn on at all.- Last but not least, the instruction manual is very poorly translated. I had to read between the lines through most of the instructions to figure out what the different operation modes were. Also on the face of the lamp there are four blue LEDs that are labeled 25,50,75 and 100% respectively but there is no mention in the manual regarding what these light indicate. I can't tell if they are showing charge status or brightness levels. Even at night time the LED that's labeled 100% was blinking so I know it is was not charging the battery at that time.Update Oct. 7, 2024:I have increased my original rating from 3 to 4 stars since my initial review because despite the aforementioned problems with the light/motion sensor not working correctly at night the UFO light otherwise has been very useful in lighting up my small porch when I step outside, it's a shame because I really wanted to give this product a higher rating.

Great addition to a back shed which has no power, gives a lot of light and works well overall. Been loving my recent use of all sorts of solar powered standalone lights, and this is yet another great addition to all the others I've been using. This one was easy to set up and use. Quality seems decent, comparable to most of the other types I've been using lately. Probably not the absolute best thing around, but very much reasonable for it's price.Where I am is a fairly northern climate, so I have the best year-round luck with the solar panels mounted facing south, with a near-vertical alignment. Seems to charge well so far and holds it's charge plenty well for the amount of use I've seen so far.
