I saw this product demonstrated at this years ISNA convention. The family who invented this was super-nice and didn't mind me taking pics of them demonstrating it. I wasn't ready to buy it then as it was for mom, who wasnt with me. Was told it's available on Amazon.Mom was definitely intrigued as I've noticed she has pain in her joints from kneeling. Knowing that a person is closest to his/her Lord when he/she bows down/prostrates, she continued to pray in pain. So I ordered (fast shipping!), she tried, and fell in LOVE with it. Do not mistake this for a typical meditation stool - its NOT! This is ergonomically designed to not get in the way from a standing, bowing, and sitting position. Also, if the price is bothering you consider this:1) This is WELL BUILT (and USA made - great quality!) - wouldn't be surprised if it lasts for generations2) Imagine having guests/relatives over who cant bow down and you have this available - more blessings for you and more comfort for them!3) Its small enough to carry to the mosque/area of worship. In-fact you can share it with others around you.4) Once you sit on it, its hardly noticeable to others that your sitting on anything. If your a lady wearing a dress/kurta/burka - its completely invisible under your outfit5) If your practicing that large toe bend when you kneel, as I am, this makes it easier/less painfulSorry for the long review, I may come back and share the video of mom using it - gotta ask her first! This is a wonderful prayer bench to enhance your worship in any spiritual tradition. As we, our parents, and loved ones age, it becomes more and more difficult to perform the mentaña and kneel for long periods of time in worship, meditation, or contemplation. The "Salat Buddy" is a beautiful solution for this problem. It is compact, light weight and comes with a nice bag for carrying to your place of worship. It is very comfortable and comes with two additional risers to adjust the height of the bench as you need to adjust. Very well made, high quality and well worth the reasonable price. Much more comfortable than similar Taiźe and related benches. Thank you!

I use this to kneel during prayer. Better than a kneeling pad but I suppose you can use both at the same time for extra comfort. I have thick carpet and don't need a kneeling pad. I don't have bad knees but praying on my knees more than 15 minutes starts to get uncomfortable and makes me want to rush through it.The first time I used it I positioned my boney butt on it incorrectly and it hurt my behind. All I could think was that I wish it had more cushion on the seat. So I didn't use it for a week. Second time I used it I finally got the hang of sitting on it comfortably. Wish I knew about this SalatBuddy sooner. Bless whoever invented this thing! It's not just for Muslims.

I bought this for my husband. He broke his leg a couple of years ago and still has pain from his surgeries. He uses this stool to pray and he loves it. He said it was one of the best gifts he has ever received. He uses it every day

Praying on my knees was hurting my back. A few days using this stool and my back is back to normal. Now my rear end hurts. I had to add some padding. I think it would benefit from a gel seat.
