IΓ’β¬β’ve been using this meditation pad and cushion for well over a year now. I love it and itΓ’β¬β’s really held up well. ItΓ’β¬β’s also very comfortable and easy to clean.

So I finally broke down and got myself a nice place to sit while meditating. Now I wish I had done this years ago!!!! It actually makes my meditations infinitely better because IΓ’β¬β’m no longer distracted by aching knees or feet. Why did I wait so long?!?!??Quality seems very good. Appearance is plain, but itΓ’β¬β’s not something that needs to draw any attention to it. Value seems good. There are way more expensive options out there, but why spend extra $$ when this does the job and does it so well? I love it and the improved posture and comfort are worth every penny!

I canΓ’β¬β’t believe I finally bought myself my very own zafu and zabuton. After ten years practicing Buddhism, its about time! I love these cushions. They are sturdy, comfortable and come in a variety of beautiful colors. The zabuton cover is washable. Unfortunately, the zafu cover would be more challenging to launder as there is no second, inner lining between its and the barley hulls. So to wash it, you would need to empty all the hulls into a separate container, wash the cover, let it dry 100% before adding the hulls back into it. That would be tedious and messy. The zafu is overfilled at delivery so it is easy to adjust for your particular weight and preferred firmness by removing barley hulls as needed. Again, a bit messy, but once itΓ’β¬β’s done, itΓ’β¬β’s done. The fabric on both cushions is a bit rough, but I would prefer that just something soft and slippery. Once you sit down, you donΓ’β¬β’t move again unless you want to. No shifting on slippery fabric. These cushions are great imo.

The two cushions are comfortable to sit for meditation. The Zabuton cushion is not filled with buckwheat hulls. I think it's stuffed with cotton batting. I was confused by the description but it's good to sit on the way it is. I took some of the hulls out of the Zafu cushion to make it more comfortable. I would have preferred to get the Zafu with the removable cover, so it could be washed but decided I didn't want to pay extra for that feature, since this is all ready expensive for 2 cushions. The cover on the Zabuton is removable. The fabric is good quality and the seams are well done. I think the covers will wipe down if any dirt gets on them.

I'm working with physical therapy to allow more mobility in my right hip. Cannot sit cross legged or do figure 4 stretch on right side easily. This pillow and cushion allows me to sit cross legged and work on right side hip mobility. The pillow is the perfect firmness and provides stability while ankles are crossed or in butterfly position in comfort on the mat. The mat has a separate cover and it's all made of strong canvas fabric. Glad I chose this one. I put it against a chair or sofa for a backrest to sit for several minutes at a time.

The Zafu is very comfortable and the well sized. The cushion was soft and comfortable for my knees. I was impressed with the material. It seems quite durable and small enough to tuck away in a corner. The colour is vibrant. Great overall.
