The Evecad store aluminum angle is 6063 structural aluminum. The 2 pieces I got were 48" long, legs were very close to 2" using a tape measure, using calipers they were both shy by about .05". The thickness measures at .245. They are strong aluminum angle, excellent for fabrication or supports, especially on my boats or trailers where corrosion can be a problem.

PROS• Packaged with protective plastic wrap.• Quite-satisfactory finish, in my opinion (see the attached photograph).• Exactly 24 inches long, as advertised.SEMI-CONS• Advertised as 2†x 2†leg height. Using a digital caliper, I measured one leg at1.964 inches and the other at 1.975 inches. An AI search requesting tolerances for 2†X 2†extruded-aluminum angle indicated that the leg-width tolerances should be +/- 0.010 inches. This under-sizing likely causes no problems for many applications. However, it might be unsatisfactory for some applications.• I micrometer-measured the leg thicknesses as 0.116†and 0.117 inches. Again, an AI request for typical leg-thickness tolerances for a 2†X 2†X 1/8†extruded aluminum angle returned a value of +/-0.005â€. This sub-tolerant thickness results in a slight strength reduction . Probably okay for noncritical work, including most of the work that I will do with this product. However, if your work is critical, you may want to pass by this extruded aluminum angle product.

On the bench today is the Evecad 1PCS 2" x 2"x 1/4" Aluminum Angle, 6063 Structural Angle Aluminum Stock Profile, Corrosion-Resistant, 48" Length,1/4" Thick.It’s a solid piece of 1/4†thick 2†aluminum angle that is precisely 48†in length. My measurements matched all of theirs at they should.It is very well priced when I compare it to other online sources for 6063 aluminum angle of the same dimensions too.All in all, I’d consider this a good deal and buy with confidence if this is what you need.

Dimensionally accurate, good quality aluminum, excellent finish. I will be using this 48"x2"x2"x1/4" angle iron to help frame a boat floor in a spot where I need some extra strength. Very pleased with the quality of it. Recommended.
