Picked this up to use as a power indicator light. I was able to get it installed in the area I needed it, but it was a little longer than I needed and that made install a little hard. Bright and appreciate the included splice connector.

My shed , I have habit of leaving lights on and then have to open and visually look.I drilled hole and put a wider hole inside to allow nut to be tightened.Added some silicon and plugged into lights outlet.I should add the splice item works great I went from regular lamp cord stripped back to copper. While this lamp copper is thicker than light, splice worked great. Now if red light is on as I lock up I know to open door turn off switch.

These little indicator lights are great. I use them on my control boxes for my light shows and Halloween shows. I don't necessarily really need it on there, but it is good to kind of glance over and see if power is on on the box or not. I'm sure there's plenty of other uses. You could use this for, but it's just for me for a little indicator to know that power is running to it. The little clips made it easy to connect it to the power and drilled it right into the case no problems.

I got this indicator light for an automated control project. It is LED, IP67 waterproof rated, and comes with a silicone O-ring, nut, lock washer and a lever wire connector. The nut is nonmagnetic and either plated brass or stainless steel. The lock washer is magnetic plated steel and definitely not stainless steel. The lever wire connector appears to be good quality with strong internal springs and copper grippers. My light is red and rated for 110V. Neither the ad copy nor the lamp itself says whether this is 110VAC or DC, but it does illuminate when 120VAC is applied. The face of the lamp is flat and smooth with a little waffle-cut diffuser on the inside. The brightness of the lamp on 120VAC is fairly dim and will not be easily visible in bright direct sunlight. Recommended but perhaps only for indoor or night-time use.
