I'm not sure if these have current limiting resistors but, since they are for automotive use, I think they would. Some colors can be used on 5VDC circuits but the blue and white will be very dim on 5v.The connections are via screw terminal. Cannot solder to them. Very small crimp spade lugs might fit.

The 12V bulbs are too bright at 12V, but good at 5V. Certainly not MIL-STD, but perfect for indoor home projects.

These lights are bright and are an exceptional value. My only complaint is that the screw terminals plates tend to turn when you are tightening them, causing a not very secure wire connection. This is especially true when using the likes of 14 gage stranded wire. The plate turns and strands come out from under it.

The box d not have the exact voltage printed on it but rather, all the voltages it could be. Since I have 12 other boxes, I have to mark each one.

I needed an on an off indicator for my water level controller. These lights fit the bill perfectly. Lights are a little dim for direct sunlight however a little shade or night operations allows easy read. Installation has been running for over three months now and they continue to work perfectly.

I know at this price point these would not be industrial pilot lights, but the plastic housing around the terminals has me pretty disappointed. Not bad for little projects or bench top test equipment, as theyare bright and function well.
