I ordered a 3/8 x 10 inch copper rod. What I got was:One 3/8 x 10 inch copper rod.It was in good condition, it was made of the material claimed and the size claimed. Thats well over 70% of the key points right there!

As others have mentioned, the product is undersized by quite a bit. Had to return and wait for a reputable company to deliver what they claim to sell

I have a deep appreciation of materials, form and function because I'm an artist. To me, copper is almost as beautiful and precious as gold -- except it doesn't quite have gold's extraordinary malleability or anti-rust/oxidation superpowers. Anyhow, This 3/4" x 10" copper rod is very beautiful. I plan to polish it and include it within a sculpture assemblage.

This is much harder than i expected, i put this in my lathe to shape with file & its not as workable as it should be, my file should dig right in but it just kinda scrathes its way in, This is an aloy of some kind. Its still nice looking though.

I ordered this to use as lathe turning stock and for other uses. Being pure copper, I can make custom electrical contacts with this material. It can also be used to make special-purpose hammers, for example. It comes in a perfectly straight round bar, with a shiny copper exterior. Excellent material, recommended.

I am disappointed that the rod is not the size advertised. I am useing this rod to prevent algae from growing in our stock watering tank.
