I replaced my three hole faucet with a single hole faucet and needed a way to cover the other holes. This worked perfectly and has been leak free. It was pretty easy to install (it helps if you have a helper just hold it down in the hole so you can get the wing nut started and snugged up. Works great

Works and looks great, though I should have ordered the brushed chrome to match my faucet. Regardless, it still looks great and fills that now unused hole.

Considering it's low price and heavy, 2", solid stainless steel construction, this sink plug rates more than 5 stars. I bought this after finding that the others I bought were barely big enough to completely cover the 1.5" holes in the back of my vintage 50 year old stainless steel sink. For less money than most other stainless sink hole plugs, this is made of stainless steel several multiples the thickness of other, cheaper, more expensive plugs. AND the washers and wing nut are all stainless too. There is room for improvement, though:First, the rubbery washer seems to be a teeny bit thinner than the gap between the inner edge of the plug and the flat sink surface it should be designed to seal against; it should be perhaps .015" thicker so some of it squishes between the sink surface and the inner underside surface of the plug for a better seal, so you'll still want to use some caulking or something for a really good seal.Second, the underside of the very edge of the plug has a few rough little raised bumpy spots that you'll want to smooth up before installing.Take-aways:-Use a little bit of plumbers putty or perhaps silicone sealer caulk all around the edge underneath this plug so it seals nicely-Check around the bottom edge of this shiny plug and sand or file off any little protruding bits so that it seals flat against the top of the sink surface around the edge of the hole. I'd buy this again if I had more sink holes to plug up.

The faucet hole covers that were originally installed in our kitchen sink started leaking. These new hole covers fit perfectly and stopped the leak problems we were having.

I had to install a new sink faucet in the kitchen. My old sink faucet had four holes drilled, hot, cold supply and soap dispenser. The new one only needed three penetrations which left me with one drill out hole. This item was simple to install and solve the problem Beautifully.

Neither ends thread, the wing nut is the wrong size as well. The part is Shiney but the female threads are junk and so is the wing nut. I returned the idem. Do your self a favor and pick one that's a few more dollars. The hardware is horrible
