While the primary shaft diameter is fine, if a little snug, the taper and the knob at the end are too large for my Ridgid vacuum from the late 1990s. I wasn't able to set the shaft fully into the socket as the old one was. However, with a little persuasion it went in most of the way and should work fine.I may yet remove them and drill out the socket bore all the way through to the top side so that I can seat them fully, which may reduce stressed on the sockets.Regardless, the smooth, quiet movement across my garage floor is much nicer than the noisy, rough-rolling plastic wheels I've used for more than 20 years. I wish I had done the upgrade sooner.

Nice rubber wheels that roll nicely. Replaced the cheap plastic wheels on my shop vac.

These wheels work great. Have a bed frame in the guest room with plastic wheels that kept locking up. Made a mess of the tiles leaving black scrape marks. Had enough and went looking for something better. Wasn't sure if they would fit but they do. They are good quality, have good easy to use locks. No more skid marks on the tile floor. Very happy.

Bought this for my sewing machine cabinet. One wheel had broken in our move and they had never been great. These are fantastic. They roll smoothly and have easy to use lock. They are also not made totally of plastic. They also had a piece to make them fit in the existing hole.

The wheels work well so far, are smooth rolling, but of course, too early to tell about longevity since I just purchased them. Installation was simple.However, if you follow the manufactures advice of using a 3/8" drill to install the sleeves, you might be disappointed... the holes will be too large and the sleeves will just wobble around, making for a poor installation.My advice is to measure the sleeves with a digital caliper and use a drill size that will ensure a tight fit into whatever these wheels are being installed on.

I bought these wheel to replace the old one were broken months ago. Luckily, found these fit well and those wheel run smoothly without noise. My ðŸ‘.

I live in a nursing home and I have a table that can go across my bed. I used these to replace the wheels on it because they were constantly breaking. It was impossible to move the table. But now, I can move it with ease. My husband took off the old wheels and popped these on in a few minutes, no tools required. Now, it almost moves itself!

I purchased these to replace the cheap, worn plastic wheels on my 15-year-old shop vac. They were cheap to begin with and they had worn down so they didn’t move well and they were really noisy. I measured carefully to make sure these wheels would fit my shop vac. When they arrived, they were slightly wider that the originals (even though I measured) so they didn’t just slide in, but with a little help from a clamp I was able to press them into place. What a difference! These wheels are SO smooth… The rolling on our basement floor is effortless and they don’t make any noise. I wish I had found these years ago. I am very happy with these wheels and I would highly recommend them. Just make sure to measure as they aren’t a universal size, but if they do fit, they will be an instant upgrade to cheap shop vac wheels.
