These appear to be about as well made as the locks of better known brands. The re-setting function works as expected.It looks like they have about the same "protection level" (= 2) as that of the brand name lock I lost and am replacing with this product. Such locks are really only good a rudimentary means to discourage theft. TSA keys are reportedly available on the black market. Look for a YouTube video that explains how a suitcase with a lock like these can be opened and closed again without removing the lock at all. I have used plastic wire ties of rare colors instead of locks, because if that is cut one can tell immediately that it has been violated when picking up a bag from the airport carousel. Don't pack anything you can't afford to lose.

Use these to lock documents in a locking file box. Works great. I could set my own 4 digit code, which was just right.

In certain lighting, (generally direct sun or dim interior lighting) it's hard to read the numbers which is extremely important to make sure you set the code correctly before locking.

Good size and weight as not too big or too heavy for a suitcase but feel solid. Easy to set and open. Numbers move into a definite position and don't wobble around so feels secure. Feels like a decent quality lock. Instructions are included for setting or resetting code. I feel they were good value for money.
