I needed to block any solids from slipping down the drain. I have had problems with the sewer pipes clogging. So I no longer use my garbage disposal and I do use these strainers over my drains. I have not had to call a plumber to open my drain pipes since. Well worth using!

This was recommended by my plumber and for under $6 for 2, it is worth a try! Not much excess food will get through this mesh and it is easy to clean as it catches things that used to slip into my drain and cause slowing of the drain. I highly recommend this. How can you lose?

Love these for my kitchen sink. As I don't have a garbage disposal and live in an old house with old plumbing clogs are an issue. These trap even the smallest particles of food and are easy to empty and clean.

I have been using these for a few months and they are amazing. They let the water flow like nothing is in the way yet catch food perfectly. For the price the quality is top notch. Super easy to clean and holding up like new!

I’ve only used this in the last decade, at least. Fits my kitchen sink hole to a T, and so all small food morsels are trapped. No escape for tiny particles. I throw in dishwasher once a week or two weeks for thorough cleaning and sanitation. No rusting as it’s stainless. I find this quite durable. I only bought new ones as I’ve inadvertently dumped my old one in the trash. Also you get value for money.
