Is have been using this gadget for years. If you bake a pie from scratch or cook a premade pie crust from the freezer, this is a fantastic tool to use. Simply lay the silicone strip over the outer edge of pie and you will not over cook the crust edge. It allows you to focus on other things instead of babysitting a pie. Normally, you have to use foil to protect the crust from scorching. I buy these and give them to new cooks who have not seen this product. I just gave 5 of them away. Great idea for the price. Make a quiche for brunch this holiday. My favorite baking gadget. Easy to check pie crust at same time you check for if done.

My quiche takes almost an hour in the oven. Its full of meat, veggie and cheese filling but by the time the filling is set, the crust has always been burnt.These are easy to use and will fit on ANY sized pie plate/tin.The silicone is easy to wash in warm, soapy water and leave to air dry. They're flexible and you can roll them up for the next use.

The only observation I have is the method for adjusting size could be better. I like the fact they are adjustable.

It does great for pie crust but if not careful you can mess up pie trying to put it on. Then if you do a smaller pie you have so much of it just hanging. Also it doesn’t just stay together, could use a better snap or something to secure it while on pie and in oven.

I am not someone who typically writes a review - good or bad, but based on the quality of this product I just had to share my experience with others. The product is made with the finest quality, cleans very easily and has done a great job on pies and quiche to keep the outer crust from burning. It is so easy to just wrap the silicone strip around the edges of the baking dish.

Not with the money. Wouldn’t work with my pie pans and my crust still burnt. Definitely wish I would not have asked for these for my Christmas gift.

It's a great crust saver. It wraps around and locks in place. No change in color after baked or washed.
