Install: 3/8" steel plate base is welded to a steel lug. Universal application may need simple drilling.

This is a great product for the money. I used mine on a jeep-like vehicle, saving me big money. There are some caveats. These shackle mounts are 3-inch bolt spacing, center to center. To fit your particular vehicle, some customization may be required, and you may have to drill your bumper. This was the case with me. I had to put the mounts and backing plates into a milling machine to fit my desired hole spacing, and then I had to repaint the mounts. Not a big deal if you are used to fabbing parts, but this could be a show-stopper for some. The mounts themselves are fantastic. The mount plate is 1/4 steel, and so is the backing plate. The beefy knuckle is really burned into the plate. I have a high degree of confidence that these will not let me down. Make darn sure that you bolt these to something solid. Go ahead- if you can make these work, and I did, buy with confidence. Worth every cent!

Mounted on an old work truck front bumper. Seems stout. Only complaint is paint seemed kinda glossy and cheap. Not sure if it’s a powder coat or what. For the price to have on a work truck at least for me they seem good
