These are great for outdoor lighting. Love the sensor feature. Needed more outlets outside and this worked perfectly. Good quality and easy to install. Look great too.

Easy to install if you are friendly with electric lines.

The only reason I'm giving this a 4 star is that one of the motion sensors work great but the other is hit and miss. There have been times I'm walking up to my door and one of the light turns on reliably but the other, sometimes, doesn't turn on until I make a "wild" movement.Aside from that one concern about the motion sensor on one of them, i love these lights. They look really cool and I'm using the extra outlet to keep security cameras powered up.One recommendation I would give you is to have an extra set of hands (another person) available to hold the light fixture while you're connecting the wires. I did one by myself and had to get a stool so I was taller and rested the fixture on my shoulder while I'm leaning up against the wall. I got it done, but on the second one, I asked my wife to come hold the fixture and that was much easier. The quality of these fixtures is really nice and they look super cool. Aside from the challenges of installation and the one motion sensor that isn't super sensitive, I'm liking these!

these are absolutely great. Everything you want and more great price actually got two other people to buy them as well after they saw mine. The weatherproof exterior plug is a big solid point.

I would say these lights are in general pretty nice looking, not great but not cheap either. I would have given a 4*, but the installation is what killed it for me. First, the part of housing that holds the socket also includes all of the glass. This can make it somewhat awkward to handle while also trying to make the electrical connections. Due to this it scraped against the brick and scratched the metal of the fixture. Second installation problem is the location of the post to hold the main housing against the bracket. it is entirely too close to the back of the outlet. So close in fact that the heat shrink ended up being stripped away and once I turned the breaker back on "POP!" the hot connector was in contact with the post, and shorted to ground. With the main housing blocking everything I couldn't see that the damage had happened, until I took everything back apart again. If the fixture were designed with the glass a separate part from the socket housing, OR if the electronic wiring were separate and just had a quick connect harness to connect to the lamp, it seems like install would be so much easier and safer. Once I solved the exposed wire issue and buttoned everything back up, the unit seems to work as expected.

These motion sensor coach lights have traditional styling and convenient modern features. The materials used are good quality, from the aluminum housing, to the tinned copper wiring which was 14AWG. The socket for the light seems to have a ceramic construction and looks well made and features a UL logo on the positive brass contact. The only part which didn't seem quite as robust as the rest of the light was the flip up cover and the outlet underneath which were entirely made of plastic, but match the look of the rest of the light flawlessly. The outlet is marked with a "Recognized Components Mark" from UL, which provides some peace of mind regarding the quality of the outlet. There are adjustments for the motion sensitivity and the on time duration. There is even a test mode to verify everything is working correctly. I liked the looks and quality of these lights very much. I installed LED Edison bulbs in my lights and think they look great. I intend to mount them on either side of my garage door to function as coach lights. The motion sensor feature will activate and illuminate the driveway while I'm backing in at night. I'd recommend these for anyone who would like traditional looking coach lights for the driveway, or as a porch light to turn on when someone approaches.
