Purchased to make some light socket insulators for an antique auto. Correct diameter to fit socket that uses a pin type bulb. Drills easily. Tough and heat resistant.

The 3/4" black plastic seems to be Acetal, It's quite stiff as it should be. They machine okay but don't expect them to be too straight. Good for small parts of 1 or 2 inches long otherwise expect to turn them down to make your part straight.Knock off a star. They are undersized. Diameter is only about 0.725". That's not what I would call a little off.

Material is really soft compared to other acetals I've used in the past. Also had concentricity issues making parts 2.5 inches long out if the 12in bars. Only got 3-4 good parts out of 24in of material

Pretty much what I expected...no magical properties whatsoever. If you're looking for simple, black, plastic cylindrical rods as I was, these are perfect.
