I grew up fishing rivers up north and using nothing but mono line. Living down south and I got introduced to saltwater fishing using braid line. Some of ya'll may already know where I'm going with this... If ya don't please for the sake of ya'll finger, KEEP YA'LL DRAG ON!!!!! Nonetheless as most of us do I went to the YT Univ to find some tips on how to improve my cast and other tricks of the trade. I noticed in one video this girl had a casting trigger on her rod and I just had to try it. Took a bit of trial and error to get the right placement on my rod but all I can say now is go and get it. These are finger savers!! Won't promise ya gonna catch more fish or anything, but I can say with conviction no more finger mangling

Great for fishing for big fish, line does not cut into finger. Going to buy some more. I used zip ties that I already had, they were heavier than the ones that came with it.

They work ok, easy to use, comfortable, they are worth the money, have put them to work, all tho if you full the fishing spool to. The limits you will find it difficult to use the trigger system it may kind of slide a bit if you don't wrap it around more than 2 times, I use it casting heavy weights with braid line, that way I don't risk of cutting my finger when pressing the line,( mainly use for spinning reels )

They work great. Placement is key. Recommend small piece of double sticky tape under it before zip tying to rod or it will spin on you.

Saves your fingers when casting a heavy load. I've noticed since using them that they also improve casting distance by a good bit as well. They seem to be well made, I haven't had any issues this far.
