It works great and it's fairly easy to use. One thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't clamp very firmly, thus making it harder to use on rods where the guides are on top. I was spooling lead-core line, which is very heavy and I had to take the device and put it on the corner of the table with a bunch of big books on top for counterweight and it worked great. Nevertheless, I recommend it.

Well first it was economical.It works very well every time I change spools or purchase a new one.It's easy to use and durable at the beach or anywhere.I like the fact that it is adjustable to almost any size reel.Good on a budget.

Pretty self explanatory to use. Fit my rods and gave me the tension needed to fill the spool. Only thing I didn’t love was the tensioner backed off a little half way through but i just tightened it back up and finished. Make sure to fill baitcasters with the line coming off the top of the spool and spinning reels with the line coming off the bottom of the spool (kinda like toilet paper lol).

Cheap plastic that doesn't last.Thread went after first use. Everything loose then.Idea is good but material is useless
