Used this for backpacking. Kept all the pre-tied leaders and flies in order. Spool is big enough that when you unwind the line it doesn't hold the 'loop' and is straight like you just tied it. Beware the hinges are lightweight, which is good for backpacking, but they can rather easily pop off, so just check before you start carrying the box around with an open lid...

The spools are decent as is the box but the design, not so much. There's nowhere to attach the "eye" of the line (the eye holds tension so user can wind the line around until you get to the hook - then, push the hook into the spool) - the line just slides off. Other brands have eyelets built into each individual slot - makes attaching the line & hook really easy and fast.
