Perfect size. And works amazing. Was a wonderful invention and investment. Only have used it once so far. But it was awesome. It spun beautifully. Looks amazing. And feels like your holding a regular pole. Tight lines yall!

I’ve struggled for years lining my reels each year holding a pencil through the spool with my feet. Using this tool almost made it an enjoyable task. I will say that it takes a few minutes to change out the line spool but it’s only two thumb nuts to do so and pretty easy.

I recommend this fishing line winder because it’s so easy to use. This is a fisherman’s dream something your husband would love to have . The size is and speed are great winding while filling your reels accurately. It’s not too heavy and works great. Looks very nice and it’s a great gift item.’

The concept is nice, and if you are spooling your reels for smaller inland fishing with mono, you will probably be fine. But if you are spooling offshore saltwater rigs, I would make my own tensioner for spooling. The Piscifun spooler just isn’t durable enough to handle large spools nor is it able to apply enough tension for spooling with braid on any reel. Sure, there are people out there that use it for spooling braid that may not realize the importance of tension when spooling it. Without the proper tension, the braid will bite into itself when spooling off the reel during casting or fighting fish, affecting the reel performance. Those are the reasons I can’t give it 5 stars, but I gave it 3 stars because it’s a nice concept and will work for smaller mono or fluorocarbon lines.

I would recommend this unit to anyone not able to get shop reel loading in their area.
