This matte was exactly what I was looking for. Its inexpensive, and durable. I utilize a pretty sharp blade for detail cutting, and it doesn't destroy the surface. Looks like its going to last awhile for a change.

I bought these for me and my daughter not knowing what a healing surface was until I got it I purposely cut into it and stopped paying attention and at some point it healed back up, so it makes a great surface for cutting with an exacto knife. It’s not to thick or flimsy it’s perfect size for kids and adults.

Works well I do a lot and I mean alot of leather craft and this has been a very good self healing matt absolutely love it.

i'm very happy with the mats they are nice and thick so i can do some mild iron ons on it and it doesnt curl up. i cut a lot of cardstock on it and buttons and itis holding up really well for daily use.

Slightly disappointed because they aren't 12" x 18", however I did get 2 for $12.99 versus 1 for $11 at Walmart. They are substantially thicker than the Fiskars cutting mat that I have and because I had seen a negative review about the deep cut marks after being used, I decided I needed to cut something and see...so I cut a portion of a pattern with an X-Acto knife and well, it looks much worse in the picture than it actually is because I can just barely feel the cut when looking at the mat, and if I don't look at the mat and feel for the cut mark, I can't feel it!Despite the fact that they aren't the size stated in the description, they are definitely well worth the money!!!

Depending what you needed for , the thickness is good enough for what I wanted to use for.Some other ones are same price but the thickness are not the same.There are thicker ones on the market but the price are higher.For me the price , size and thickness is just right

I bought these for cutting matte board, but will be using them for sewing projects and paper crafts, as well. They are easy to store, worked great and the guidelines are useful.

These are all made, thick and flexibleI use mine side by side to make a bigger cutting area can't beat the price any where
