These are actually very perfect for mealworm care as their small enough to sift out waste from the mealworms but keeps food and mealworms separated

I have used this several times now and it works very well theres only one issues I have with it. When sifting everything together all my dry ingredients apparently salt cant past through it. Every sift salt is left behind. Im happy with it beyond that.

This dispenses a very fine flour. I tried sifting a fine sea salt and fine Himalayan salt, only some granuals went through. I then tried Morton table salt and about 1/4 went through. I crushed the Morton on a plate and almost all of it went through. I am happy with my purchase it is a quality strainer. Since I usually add salt toward the end of the baking process and can melt it in liquid if necessary it's not an important factor for me.

I got these to filter homemade soy milk. These are great for that. I’ve tried all kinds of things like cheese cloths (which to me are terrible and get bacteria easily) strainers (which aren’t fine enough) and plastic soy milk strainers (which well, are plastic=toxic with hot liquids) so these are the best alternative I’ve found. They have survived the dishwasher beautifully so far. Very happy with these
