I have been making a lot of cookies using regular flour which comes pre-sifted these days. I had given away my old sifter for some reason I can't remember some time ago. This past Christmas I came across new recipes that call for you to sift the flour and other dry ingredients. The directions tell you to sift the flour and the other dry ingredients. I repeat: you have to sift the pre-sifted flour. These were not old recipes from days before flour came pre-sifted; these were new recipes just recently written. So,I needed to get a sifter, and I turned to Amazon.I came across this one and thought it looked enough like my old one that I could use it well. It is almost perfect, and I like the powdered sugar things that come with it. The only problem I have is that it is much smaller than my old one and doesn't hold as much flour. It suppose it is my fault for not reading the description more carefully. Other than that, it works very well.

During the holiday seasons, I bake and make candies. I decided to give in and get a sifter this year to make it a little easier than just using strainer and shaking it.I found this sifter, and decided to buy it.I took it out of the box and it worked fine, I washed it to use it the next day. It worked for squeezes and then quit. I had to shake it like I did the old strainer. I thought maybe a piece of powdered sugar did not dissolve and was clogging it up. I washed it and tried it again this morning the same result.I would suggest buying a better one. It causes a lot less stress to get the proper equipment.I’m going to Michael’s today and picking up a good one.

I really like this sifter. It is very sturdy. It works very well. It is not made of cheap construction. This sifter will last a very long time. I also like the little sifter. It also works very well. I like this 2 piece set.

It is cheaply made and the sifting handle hangs up. I ended up tapping the flour out of it
