Much better than the plastic ones! I used this to replace a broken plastic closet rod hanger. Easy to install.

I used one of these metal brackets to replace a broken plastic one in my storage closet. Aside from being just a wee bit small, I was able to sand the wooden dowel just enough, and create a perfect fit. It seems quite sturdy, as well. I will order more of these for future projects.
