These are good solid toggle clamps. Similar to bessey brand but considerably less expensive. Def recommend to anyone in need of this style clamp. Well made and durable.

I built a bench to cover access to the crawl space under my house. I used these latches to attach the bench to the floor, so the bench would stay put when there. I can undo these latches and pick up the bench to move it. When attached, these hold STRONG. Very happy with these latches.

i wanted to make my chickens a coop that had a roof that could be opened for easy cleaning but could latch down firmly enough that a raccoon would have no chance of opening it. these latches worked great.

I am deeply disappointed through no fault of the toggle latch clamp. I didn't study the photo well enough and thought that this was a toggle clamp like that which is used in woodworking. (See photo above) I have a test jig and the toggle clamps on it are too small to clamp wood that is over 1 1/2" thick. When I saw the photo of these clamps I mistakenly thought that they were larger toggle clamps and perhaps I could custom fit my jig to thicker wood.I will have to do some more shopping around to find exactly what I'm looking for. This time I will be more careful to look things over more closely!

These Toggle Latch Clamps are thicker steel than I expected for the price. They even threw in an extra hook. They look and feel pretty durable too. The locking latch lock works well, but is a little shallow and could hook a little deeper for a more secure connection. I like the adjustable design for a tighter clamp. They keep the doors closed really tight and are perfect for a little extra security.

This is indeed a latch clamp for adding a closure to things, not a clamp for building woodworking jigs. When the handle is pushed down, it pulls the opposing U-bolt towards it, and if there's a hook in the way, it'll latch on to it with considerable force. I too made the mistake of thinking one could make a jig out of it, but unless you're more mechanically inclined than I am, that may not be possible. To be fair, the product never claimed otherwise - some of us just see "clamp" and immediately lose our minds. I'm obligated to award it 5 stars because it does what it claims to do very well. I'm going to keep noodling on possible shop uses - a tool mount perhaps? Bolt the hooks to the edge of my bench (or attach bench dogs to fit the dog holes) and the clamps on the plywood bases of my bench grinder/sander, then when I need to use them, carry them to the hooks and clamp them on? If the plywood bases also have a lip to lock on to the bench edge, that could work 🤔

I used these clamps for the door of a custom LiFePO4 battery box in my travel trailer, and they worked out great. These heavy-duty latches feel very solid, and the 2000 lbs holding capacity is way more than the job required. The adjustable design made it easy to get the perfect fit, and they’ve held up well even after a few trips on rough roads. Overall, they’re a reliable and sturdy solution for keeping things locked down, and I’d definitely use them again for other projects.
