I had eye surgery and having these was a great help in keeping my eye protected while recovering. The pack includes two eye covers with an adjustable strap that is really useful in allowing things to be fitted to individual head sizes. Because of this, it can be used by adults or children. The pack also comes with a nose shield, which I honestly never used but could be helpful to others. My favorite part is that the patches have holes in them for ventilation, and the patch is clear so it’s easy to see what is happening.

My wife had eye surgery several days ago. She was sent home with a plastic eye shield nearly identical to this one and some tape. Unfortunately, the tape was so strong the first time I removed it from her face, she lost some skin. This made it impossible for her to wear the eye shield provided by the hospital. This eye shield with the elastic band with the adjustable button worked for her. There were some things I did not like, but since it allowed my wife to have an eye shield I still gave it five stars. If you order this product, look carefully at the Amazon description and photos, as it does not have instructions. You will see there are three small holes to attach the elastic cord, but you only use two of the three. Depending on the two holes you use to attach the cord determines if the patch is for the right eye or the left eye.It also comes with a black, "nose support." I was not able to figure out how the nose support worked, and there are no photos showing the nose support in use. There is a photo showing the eye shield used with tape, and then it would be nearly identical to the one supplied by the hospital. Just be sure to use a tape that releases easily from the skin. I think the elastic bands with a strip or two of tape could be a good option for using this product.
