I bought these because they are shallow. The issue is they don't fit well on cage bars at all. I am only able to use mine on the door which is a pain since it tilts down. The edges are also very sharp!! I would NOT use these for birds cockatiel size and up because they will hurt their feet. I use it for my finches because they take one piece at a time and fly away. Overall, I don't recommend.
