This is a very nice feed and water set from Harris Farms. My neighbor raises chickens and offered us a free set of chicks plus the setup and knowledge to get my daughter started raising her first batch of upcoming chicks. We brought the feeders over to my neighbor's and they said it was a perfect set for the chicks. The openings are nice and wide for easy filling and cleaning. They are nice and sturdy and will hold up well outdoors. The feeders attached firmly to the bases and nothing leaked. This was the perfect starter set to help get my daughter started on her exciting new experience of finally raising chickens. She's wanted to for years and has been around the neighbor's chickens enough to already have a great understanding of what to do. I'll be keeping my eyes out too. I think I might be just as excited as she is. These feeders will be enjoyed by many little chicks. Five stars!

These were great for roughly 2 weeks but they need legs to make them taller after that. Bedding and poop get in both containers so easily. You have to change them out daily.

These chick feeders work really well, if you have the space. They do take up some floor space and are not going to work in a plastic storage bin. We used these when we moved the chicks out to our old A-frame coop outside at about 5 weeks. In the storage container, they would quickly fill the waterer base with litter, so only the feeder worked there. They are now almost 7 weeks and the waterer is too small for them. They go through it and would need it filled at least twice a day, which is not practical for us. The feeder still works and holds enough for the whole day. Both are easy to fill and work well for chicks.

The first thing my husband said when he saw this feeder bundle arrive was, "We aren't getting more chickens. Are we?" If you raise backyard chickens you understand having a set of these is always prudent. Partly because you never know when you'll come home from the tractor supply with more than bags of feed. This set is made of substantially thick plastic, with containers that screw on easily. I've owned a few galvanized sets in the past; however, when I needed them, they were always rusted, which I don't feel comfortable using. This is a nice set that's a good size for up to 4 or 5 chicks.

These work great for my chicks and so far I've not had any issues. They also fit standard mason jars so I can have feet/water ready to go on the counter and tell my kid's to go check and if needed replace without me really needing to be involved.(We got them to kind of show the life cycle of a chicken). So far it's been great!
