I needed these toilet bolts when installing my new toilet. The bolts worked as they should and securely held the toilet in place. Whether or not they are corrosion resistant remains to be seen, but they were easy to install, they fit well, and were a valuable find. They got the job done.

The 2 Pcs Toilet Bolts, Bolts for Toilet Tank (Generic) are for connecting a toilet tank to the bowl. It included to sets of washers and nuts for each bolt. The bolts appear to be brass although the heading of the item listing states Gold. The product description states stainless steel. The bolts, washers and nuts are all steel as they could be picked up with a magnet. Neither brass or stainless steel are able to be picked up with magnets. Whatever plating is used on these 2 Pcs Toilet Bolts, Bolts for Toilet Tank (Generic) may retard corrosion for some time but I specifically was looking for brass, then maybe stainless steel to use in the toilet tank. The washer is a cone shape which has some practical application as it could fit the tank hole and plug it better than a flat washer. I like that a second set of washer of nut was included for each screw—if it will fit between the tank and bowl-- because that may help to ensure that you don’t over tighten the tank to the bowl as easily with only one set. One thing to note is the head of the bolt is a rather small sized phillips slot when many OEM manufacturer bolts are standard slot heads. But, I am more disappointed in the claim about the hardware materials when the bolts, washers and nut are not what it stated.
