I am a very amateur crepe maker, and I got these to help me as I learn how to make crepes. From what I have read, wooden tools are preferred for crepes because wood is less likely than metal to scratch a nonstick pan, which is crucial to the process. Wood utensils are also usually smooth, so they work better to glide across the batter and help spread it easily without tearing it, especially if you wet the utensil first.These tools are very inexpensive and lightweight, but they definitely got the job done. I had to put them together myself, but it was literally as easy as sticking a peg in a hole and pushing it until it was secure--it was very easy.My crepes weren't perfect, but I am going to keep trying with the help of these tools. I like them, and I would recommend them.
