Works great! Safe for kids to make!

Heats rapidly, small but cute, good grilling, great functionality. But I would love if the cord was longer it is a bit short. But other than that great product.

What a fabulous product for such a reasonable price. I have utilized almost daily since purchasing. The pancakes are perfect and fluffy every time. I had a few chocolate chips or strawberry slices after they are done for a little extra flavoring!

Eggs, pancakes, best breakfast sandwiches, so worth buying

Everything just sticks and burns to this while the insides remain uncooked. The unit gets uncontrollably hot, part of the plastic handle tab that should stay cool in order to lift the lid up actually melted off. How is anybody cooking with this? I got so frustrated that I didn’t try using it again (with same results!) until it was past the return window :(

This is probably a great little pancake maker, but here's the issue I have. The product is needlessly packaged in heavy duty shrink-wrapped plastic. And I don't mean the kind they wrap CDs in. I mean the type they make long lasting durable products with.First I tried cutting with scissors. Barely bent a corner of the packaging. See image.So I aimed for a thinner area and took an exacto knife to it. Make a thin slit in it, but didn't cut through.Again, see the image.I don't have a license to handle explosives. That would likely ruin the product anyway. Maybe if I wait for summer I can run over it with the lawn mover. Maybe that would work. I also don't have a jackhammer. A chisel might work. Never tried that.To the manufacturer, this is a needless waste of plastic contributing to plastic pollution. I have bought similar products, but the makers of those products care enough about the environment that they pack their product in cardboard. Products exactly like this one.Packing like this ends up polluting our landfills, garbage dumps, and eventually the world's oceans. What's more. It's completely needless. This product could have and should have been packaged in cardboard which can be recycled or which would bio-degrade.This sort of packaging needs to go the way of the dinosaurs - before human life on this planet does so because of the destruction of our oceans, air, and land through needless pollution like this.The stars are all for the product, which I'm hoping is good and which others say is good. No stars at all for the titanium plastic packaging. I bet the product itself, if I could access it and use it, wouldn't be able to stand up to the sort of damage a person could do with a pair of scissors and an exacto knife.At some point that sort of titanium hard plastic has to stop being used. I will update this review - IF I EVER GET THE THOUGH THE PLASTIC AND GET TO ACTUALLY USE the product.UPDATE: I found a way to get through the packaging and to the product. I had to carefully cut into the plastic at the back along the thick rims. But even then, when I went to remove the cardboard insert in case it had any info I needed - it was like trying to get food away from a wild animal or something. It just didn't want to give.Here's the kicker though. Once I had access to the product I cleaned it up as instructed in the "Before Initial Use" instructions. Then I noticed - below those instructions in big bold - sometimes all caps letters where it says. "DO NOT eat the first pancakes you make with the Mini Pancake Maker. All in bold black print.Now as it says PANCAKES (plural) (meaning more than one), not PANCAKE. That leaves me and likely others, wondering how many of our first batches of pancakes we can't eat out of this thing. 2, 5, 10, 20, 30... There is no amount specified.Asking a question on here has resulted in pretty lame answers as usual. One person said they burned a piece of bread and ate the first pancake - and they are still alive. Yet does this person know if they ingested anything harmful which may come back to negatively impact their health - like cancer? Another person said they bought it as a gift so they couldn't answer. Yet they felt the need to tell me this. This is not helpful people. Please read the questions people ask on here and answer if you know. Otherwise I - and I imagine most people are the same. We don't want to know what your dog had for breakfast, or how you survived after ignoring product instructions.
