It’s daily easy to use, it did not come with tacks but I probably wouldn’t have trusted tacs anyhow. It does seem like it may come loose at the corners when wrapping the canvas but I solved that by putting a staple at each corner using a staple gun. I also used the staple gun to attach my canvas to the frame. Worked like a charm.

I do PBN canvases and I use these to mount them. They fit well together and do the job for lightweight stretcher bars.

I bought 4 sets, 2 of which had the correct number of long and short bars, the other two: one had 5 of long and 3 of short, and one had 4 long and 3 short. Also, the wood splits badly along the edges. Would not buy again.
