They advertise this as 4.5 inches wide. (edit: they changed the size to 3.85 in!!...It said 4.5 when I purchased mine!! The one I received was only 3.5 inches wide. Smaller than what they said. The bristles are much looser and look lower quality than in the picture.

Replaced our melted old brush with horsehair and these are better than the original brushes.
