Purchased these for my 2003 polaris professional series. Although these are essentially the same as a ranger, it's hard to find things that absolutely fit without any doubt. These ball joints were exactly the same dimensionality and fit perfectly. Wish they had the provision for the use of the grease fitting like the original ones did but not too worried about that. I have needle fittings for my grease gun that allows me to grease them from under the rubber cover if needed like just about every newer car has to be done. The removal tool worked great which is a big reason I bought this kit. When removing the retaining plates, be sure to clean the allen head holes out well and I used an allen tip for a drill so I could tap it in all the way and put a 1/4in wrench on that to remove them so I could get the right torque to break them loose without it slipping out or rounding the heads as these are locktighted in place. I was able to do the whole job without removing the strut and I did put the joints in the freezer for a while and put some heat on the strut to reinstall them. Worked great but I did have to press them in just a little further to fully seat them. We'll see how well they hold up but mine is only used for around the house clean up and occasionally riding the grandkids so should be fine for a while.

Worked well. you'll need a pipe wrench and a socket on a breaker bar, and add HEAT !

this particular ball joint design is not the best, The rubber boot does not seal the ball with grease. this not the fault of the product, but the fault of the ATV MFG. These ball joints fit fine as well.

Found the ball joints and puller to be better quality than expected for the price.

Can’t speak to longevity, but the fit was great on the arctic cat 375. Was a little annoyed the rubber boots don’t come off and kinda just get squished in between when pressing the ball joints in, but they don’t appear to have been damaged by the process.

Ball joints are easy to pull using this tool. It takes only a few minutes to remove a ball joint from a Polaris strut.
