Does a good job but still had to look for some pieces to fit properly. Had to use some sockets to make it work and also it is very bulky for my use. I guess since it is supposed to be universal it has to be, but for me it was overkill.

I got this to use on my 89 mustang gt & perhaps other vehicles in the future. based on the weight and size of this thing it should be fine. The case isn’t the greatest but at $47 for the 21 piece kit it exceeds what they needed to give me to make me happy (For that price they really shouldn’t even have to include a case lol). Even though the case came damaged I’m still giving it 5 stars assuming it happened in shipping. I can’t wrap my head around the acrobatics this thing endured bc one clasp was folded inside the case which shipped with straps around it and a box. Case must have opened just enough for the clasp to go inside the case. See pics before and after I opened. That one clasp will not stay clasped either but good enough for me 😊

Pretty amazing what you get here for fifty bucks! I used this to separate ball joints that had been in place for 45 years on my Triumph TR7 project. The extreme force I had to apply with a half inch breaker bar did not break or damage the tool. Money well spent and very happy to have this set in my tool box.

Well the main screw is hollow to accommodate a ball bearingIt pressed the old one out on my 1978 chev c-10Installing the new lower ball joint the main screw snappedNot too confident to be stuck with a broken tool attached to my truckHad to cut the tool off with a angle grinderAlso the tool was not quite large enough for this job , had to use a 3/4/1/2 reducing bushing to press out the old one

I had to return my first set to Amazon because of a huge shipping delay. Meanwhile I ordered this same set right from Vevor. I replaced the lower ball joints on my 2017 Ram 1500 and I was very impressed. When pressing the ball joints out, the largest cup was just slightly too big (control arm design) but it still worked great. A larger set is probably better to suit more vehicles and their sizes. It held up to tremendous force from my impact to press them out! For the price you can't beat this set.
