bought to use on my honda civic, but have used on other vehicles as well plenty of adapters to make it work for what you are working on, definitely worth the price vs the more expensive brands

The universal nature of this kit makes for a versatile ball joint removal set for suspension and brake work. The hope for this kit is that it will stand the test of time as we go through various cars and trucks over the years. The thick C clamp with forged force screw seems very well constructed and gives me confidence I have the right kit when needed. Have not yet put to the test, but the plan is to swap out our dated Honda's suspension and brakes with genuine parts from the dealer.

This is a very solid set - it covers pretty much all the bases. It is indeed quite heavy duty - everything is beefy and the set weights quite a bit. The only part that may eventually wear out is the c-clamp, but it's well made and has some real heft to it. Be sure to grease the working threads on the clamp really well. The case is also actually quite good - sturdy metal latches and the inside is labelled so everything can go back into it's place. Overall worth it. Well made, heavy, and it's quite a complete set.

I got this to replace my old ball joint press kit. It was well used and the C clamp was starting to have problems threading. This kit is high quality and comes in a solid case. The C clamp is well made with large threads. Keep them greased and they will last a very long time. The included adapters fit most common vehicles and will do all the jobs you need for a home mechanic. Very happy with this set!
