Used to remove pitman arm form a 1981 f100 steering box. Was simple to use great price and quality was as expected had a great weight and easy ro operate. The fit for the application worked well. Just apply pressure to the screw a smack the arm a few times don't let the tool do all the work and the arm popped right off.

This tool worked fine for removing the Pittman arm on my second gen diesel Ram.I was a little concerned with the metal strength as the arms started to deform once I applied a lot of torque.Once I saw that I hit the Pittman with a dead blow hammer the Pittman broke free.So I wouldn't rely individually on this tool to remove a Pittman that is really torqued down.Otherwise, it did the job and didn't cost me an arm & leg.

I started replacing the outer tie rod ends on my 2016 Acura RDX. I watched a couple of videos that referenced a specific tool to break the joint free (puller or pickle fork), but said you could do this with a few light whacks with a rubber mallet and a wooden block.I tried this. Did it work... nope.I nabbed this pitman arm puller on Amazon on a Saturday for cheap and overnight delivery had me completing the job the next afternoon. Is this a pro-level tool? I have no idea... I'm no pro. Will it last through multiple uses? For Sure. It definitely held up just fine and I am sure I will find another use for this tool in the future.

The tool was a tiny bit too shallow for my 2007 Subaru Legacy tie-rods. If it had a metal disk at the bottom of the screw, I think it would have worked. Nicer models go deeper and have very wide gauge screws. What this one did is go crooked, and totally stripped itself. You can see in the pic that the screw is not straight. Not fixable, not usable, and I waited too long to return it. I strongly recommend rather than buying this, you go borrow a free good quality one from your neighborhood parts store. If you're a serious mechanic, buy a better one. If you're just doing your own car, take advantage of the free loaner tools and ambiance of your local auto parts store.

Clearly this is the bang for the buck item, as they tend to cost 5 x as much. Looks solid at this point I will give it a try . I do not plan to use it everyday.

Worked great on my ball joints and outer tie rods. They where bad at least 12 or more years old. Couldn't beat them out so order this came next day. Gave couple turns beat with hammer little bit came right out. The treads did not shred like other people stated. DONT KNOW WHAT THEY WHERE DOING. I used a ratchet not a impact. Great product!

Leaving a positive review for a positive outcome on this tie-rod separator.Used it on my 1988 Lotus Esprit and it effortlessly popped the tie-rod end out of the spindle. Not sure why people leave negative reviews if it didn't fit their specific application.

Very disappointed in this product for that price. It looks more like a toy than a tool. I tried to return it but got no reply from the company, I thought it was a prime order but I guess not. Just don't bother to buy this, there's much better tools for that price.
