Used this on a Ram 2500, so not exactly lightweight work. Held up just fine and got the job done.

Worked like a charm to remove a stuck king pin on my 1967 F100. The “C†is large enough to fit around the steering spindle and push out the pin. Regular size ball joint presses are too small. Well worth the money!

Didn’t have to use to review!all ball joint tools are aluminum, this is steel! Weighs like 10+pounds! So I have no doubt this is the best tool f its type in my garage with a 9 inch spread for trucks!!

but.. thread fit size between screw diameter and clamp body thread tapping size was very disappointing. Way to lose for professional workshops.

I have been doing my own auto work for years and I saw some negative reviews where people broke this tool. It is plenty strong for ball joints. I just completed a ball joint job on a 2003 ram 3500.Make sure you apply grease to the ball bearing, slip shaft and the threads of the screw.Lube is your friend with most repairs and I imagine the broken tools were from people not doing this and having it bind. They assumed it was just hard to turn due to a "Stuck" ball joint and bam the tool breaks.Grease it up on all moving parts and it will last.

Used it to do ball joints on a 2008 Dodge 3500 6.7 cummins diesel. The oversized throat was perfect. Definitely recommend as it's Big, tough and effortlessly did the job.
