I have borrowed this type of tool several times from the auto parts store. The tools are usually beat up and its a hassle to drive back and forth to the store in order to return the tools when you're done. This kit is just as robust as the tools I've used in the past but now I can keep it in my garage and use it whenever I need. They include a good variety of accessories to help press ball joints in or out. The large C-clamp frame is perfect for pressing the joints while on the car, or you can use the accessories with a standard shop press if you decide to remove your control arms from the vehicle. Everything comes in a functional plastic case for easy storage. Overall I'm quite pleased with this kit and look forward to using it to replace some noisy ball joints on my truck. Since I've used this type of tool in the past I don't anticipate any issues, but I will update this review if I notice any problems during use.

As the headline says, this ball joint press feels heavy duty and well built. I got this set to change the ball joints on my 2003 grand cherokee 4wd and I had no problems finding the right adapter from the included choices.
