I had the old u joint out and the new one in the yolk under 10mins. If you have to do a u joint replacement on any vehicle. Do yourself the best favor and get this tool. Auto zone had one for $149.00 for the same thing but it only had 4 tool adopters in the set. These one has 8 different types of tools in the set. Every single thing you will need to get the job done. I am so very thankful that I got it. Thank you for offering this at a great price and delivered it in 2 days.

Excellent build quality! I’d definitely recommend the bigger kit. Great price for this product. It’s super easy to operate and I’d recommend greasing the press screw for the protection of functionality. I do wish the seating cup was a little larger in diameter and that’s why I recommend the bigger set. Great product and easy to use.

I debated buying this kit or the more expensive version with 21 pcs. I probably should have done neither and just borrowed the tool for free from the local parts house.This set from KooPool came in a thin, fragile case. The set was packed in it's original box, plus an additional amazon box. Both boxes were pristine, but the plastic case in side was smashed and shattered, It had obviously been dropped before it was ever put in the boxes. I didn't buy the tool for the case, but I did expect to receive it unbroken, and I am not impressed with the brittle and flimsy nature of it.As for the tool itself, the 1st issue is - there are zero instructions included, and the function of various parts is NOT intuitive. I am a mechanical engineer with 35 years experience in the auto industry. I fooled around a good hour trying to understand how the maker intended me to use this set. There was a little card in the case that names the various parts, but those names are no help. I played around to see which parts fit my replacement ball joint ( Chevy TRailblazer) and none were an obvious match. I noted the various features on the parts that seemed like they would be used to align the adapters in the frame, but none provided the kind of positive fit I would expect. Eventually, I figured up a combination of adapters that would sort of work, but that was too long to fit inside the c-frame.For removal, I ended up placing a receiving cup under the ball joint and then pressing directly on the stud, which was a very unstable arrangement. I would have preferred to press the body/housing but there was no good way to do so with the provided parts. So, pressing the stud blew the stud thru the bottom of the housing, which actually made things easier. Now, I could use any of several adapters to press on the housing that remained. The housing popped out fairly easy, much to my delight.For Install, I was able to cobble a combination that worked and it took minimal force to get the new one in. However, the way things were stacked up with no real interlocking features, I would not have been comfortable applying much force. This is where some instructions or diagrams to illustrate how the designer expected this little kit to be used would be helpful.I got my 1-time job done with no catastrophe or safety incidents but this kit does NOT give me confidence that: - it has enough adapters etc to be useful on a majority of vehicles. The 21 pc set is probably better.- it is safe to use. It seems quite likely that parts would slip and eject if the user applies much force- it will last for more than a couple more jobs. The thread is a standard UNC-type sharp thread. A press like this really should be acme/buttress threaded or at least fine thread. Greasing the spindle would be prudent but the big, open threads mean there would be a heck of a mess, with grease getting everywhere during use.This kit was not a smart purchase for me.Based on the lack of instructions, the crap case, the lack of flexibility for various applications, and the unproven durability - I would suggest not buying this kit. If you have 1 job to do, borrow/rent the set available from most parts stores. If you have several jobs to do, buy a better, more durable set from someone who will provide decent documentation.

Works well on UTV parts and while the measurements in the description are accurate I assumed it was the same size as the one you rent from the parts store. Should work great for small cars and trucks definitely won’t work for heavier duty trucks.

Things have been received, good quality, a lot of energy, easy to use and easy to operate, it is worth recommending

It looks well built and I'm sure it will make ball joints a lot easier to remove and install.
