This thing is robust! It works great, zero issues removing the ball joints off my 25yo half ton. They are heavy duty and had very little play.

Use this for ball joint replacement and installation on a Polaris XP 1000, and when used in combination with large sockets it worked great, as the cups are obviously made for automotive and not ATV/UTV. Great quality!

For an at home, do it yourself, car restorer this tool worked out great. Made an easy job of replacing pressed-in ball joints. A professional probably wants brand name tools but for me this did a great job at a bargain price. Highly recommend.

This tool worked great for my car (90s Honda). I can’t speak for any other vehicles—large and/or compact.Be sure to grease the threading on the clamp prior to use. It’s heavy duty and feels sturdy. Best bang for your buck for ball joint press. If you know what ur doing and is careful, I’d say buy it. Can’t go wrong with it. Don’t listen to these negative reviews, chances are, it’s user error on their end.
