My only gripe is having a drive change for the socket. Seems like more pieces than necessary and can quickly crowd the little space over your upper ball joint. Not too bad to work around after I pulled the strut bar on my 89 d250, but some people like to leave that on to stay safe when separating ball joints and pulling springs.Only tool for the job. You will ruin your control arm pressing out these ball joints. This socket is really the only fix. I’ve seen some that are 1/2†drive and that sounds appealing but this one is really easy to use once you find the space.

worked like a charm. had to take out the 3/4" air gun to take the upper ball joints out on a 75 Dodge camper, the socket fit well and it came apart and back together as it should. Great sockets, held up well under high torque.

Quality tool and a great price, The ball joint was so rusted and stuck I had to use a 4 ft. cheater bar and the socket took the pressure.

Living in N.E I haven't had to do a set of ball joints on an older dodge product in a long long time...but i bought them because everywhere around us either wanted $100+ for one of the them or were not in stock. Thankfully i found them here and they worked just fine...its a socket..how could you possibly mess it up haha
